Research Interests
Our research focuses on synthesis and characterization metalloporphyrins and other chromophores so we can explore the optoelectronic properties of these species and how they can be modified by their environment.
Our goal in designing these materials is to use them for a variety of applications, including as colorimetric VOC and ion pair sensors, as biomimetic small molecule sensors, in photovoltaic devices. and in electrochromic materials.
Please see our list of publications and presentations for further details.
